Mike now plans to compete this year,and is in training for Jan and Feb title and World Record attempts.
He currently holds the World Record in his weight class with a bench press of 198kg achieved in the World Championships in 2005 and has joined an elite band of sportsmen in weight-lifting competitions.
Now 2012 will see Mike lifting at a lower weight category, to snatch the title off the current champion in that one group.

hi there mike do you do strengh workouts for bench press as im really finding it hard as im 6ft 3. i am a powerlifter squat and deadlift are really strong just need to bring up my bench. regards ben
